La aventura comienza un día y medio antes del concurso, este año no habíamos
previsto nada, el año pasado estuvimos realizando este Concurso desde la
Isla de la Palma (ED8R); sin a penas tiempo finalmente decidimos improvisar
y salir desde el QTH de EC1KR en ÁVILA con una instalación sencilla
(montamos alguna antena nueva) y un pequeño equipo de operadores: EC1KR,
EC4DX, EA4AOC, EA4TD y UY7CW.

Hemos realizado un gran esfuerzo para sacar estos resultados, como siempre
Murphy aparece en estos eventos y nos dejó la estación Multiplicadora con
100w medio concurso, con lo cual la búsqueda de multis ha sido muy
laboriosa.

El desmontaje ha sido entretenido, despues de 48h de concurso, a las 02.00h
de la madrugada entre solamente 3 operadores y teniendo que estar a las
08.00h del lunes en el trabajo. Hoy estamos bastante cansados pero creo que
mereció la pena.

Dar las gracias a todos los colegas y amigos que nos han ayudado a montar
todo, con su logística y apoyo esto ha sido posible, en especial: URE ÁVILA,
RADIO CLUB HENARES, EA1AR, EA1JJ, EA1IP, EA1ASC, EC4AJS, EC4JD, EA5KM y
DH1TW.

Enhorabuena al resto de colegas EA por sus buenos resultados, ha estado muy

A year several friends of Radio Club Henares have participated in this
interesting contest, we were advised of weather problems that would occur with
the storm of wind and water planned for that weekend. Anyway we decided to
install everything and try your luck, it made a hard mount the days before the
Contest and was finally installed our facility consisted of: Vertical 40m high
with 70 radials of 40m in length + L vertical inverted + SWL K9AY for . We must
say that the few hours we enjoyed our new full-size portrait was amazing (the
vertical was elevated latex balloons inflated with helium), with thunderous
signals and from the fourth minute of NA contest worked stations other stations
U.S. not yet received. Finally the wind could with all our installation (Winds
of 130km / h) and we were forced to leave the contest with barely 4 hours to
enjoy the first night … before the weather nothing can be done and this is a
hobby. Special thanks to all colleagues who have helped us to mount this
facility: DH1TW, EA1JJ, EA1AR, EA1MU, EA1IP and EA5KM. The QSLs can be
